UK-based Zimbabwean satire star Munya Chawawa is up for a British Academy Tv Award (Bafta).
Chawawa has had his profile rise extremely, with entertaining, fascinating satire.

He’s for the Specialist factual award, his work being The way to Survive a Dictator With Munya Chawawa.
It’s interpretation of his relationship to the late Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, ‘utilizing interviews, archive, and comedy sketches, Munya tries to unpick’ him.
The documentary was screened on Channel 4.
Chawawa’s work is up in opposition to Aids: The Unheard Tapes (BBC Two), The Inexperienced Planet (BBC One), and Russia 1985-1999: Traumazone (iPlayer).
